BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN RECOVERY & STRENGTH
Recovery doesn’t always end when physical therapy does. You may be cleared to exercise but still feel unsure about what movements are appropriate, how much you should be doing, or how to safely rebuild your strength.
At Platinum Fitness, we meet you at that next stage. With your healthcare provider’s clearance, your trainer can create an individualized program that helps you gradually rebuild strength, improve movement, and regain confidence in what your body can do.

START WHERE YOU ARE
Your program begins with your current abilities, limitations, and comfort level — not where you were before surgery or injury. |
BUILD GRADUALLY
We focus on progressive strength and movement, increasing challenge appropriately as you become stronger and more confident. |
MOVE FORWARD
The goal is to help you transition from simply being cleared for exercise to feeling capable and confident doing the things that matter in your everyday life. |
REBUILD STRENGTH. RESTORE CONFIDENCE.
After an injury or surgery, it’s common to feel hesitant about certain movements — even after you’ve been cleared to exercise. Individualized training gives you the opportunity to rebuild strength progressively while learning to trust your body again.

MOBILITY & MOVEMENT
Work on comfortable, controlled movement to support the way you move and function in everyday life. EVERYDAY FUNCTION
Build strength that translates beyond the gym — from stairs and carrying groceries to returning to hobbies and an active lifestyle. |
The goal isn’t to rush back to where you were. It’s to build forward from where you are now.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
|
Do I need to finish physical therapy before starting?
Not necessarily, but you should have appropriate clearance from your healthcare provider before beginning personal training after an injury or surgery. If you’re currently in physical therapy, we can work within the recommendations and restrictions provided by your healthcare team. What if I still have limitations?
That’s okay. Your training begins with your current abilities and any guidelines provided by your healthcare team. Exercises can be modified and progressed appropriately as your strength and confidence improve. |
Is this the same as physical therapy?
No. Personal training does not diagnose, treat, or rehabilitate injuries or medical conditions. This service is designed to help you progressively rebuild strength and confidence once you’re medically ready to exercise. What types of surgeries or injuries can you work with?
Because every recovery is different, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all list. We’ll talk about your history, current abilities, medical clearance, and goals to determine whether personal training at Platinum is appropriate for you. |
